Bali - part 3

"Segala puji-pujian untuk Mr Gig yang handsome seperti Salman Khan..(sesiapa yg nak dia jadi escort boleh email kat i, charges dia kita boleh ting tong..he has preserved quite well considering he's fast approaching 40, unless you're into man with generous love handles, just need to ignore the prosperous tummy).

Truthfully, this fasting month has been quite hectic. Not many clients turn up to be seen, therefore i take this opprtunity to look at paperwork yang tertangguh. OK la, minus one or two occasions (or perhaps a few more) that i indulge myself in sesi tenggiling yakni bergulung dalam selimut kat office, such bliss! Cannot recall the last time i had unerupted sleep at home and not being molested by little D at least twice every night (yes, it is little D and not the daddy).

I am beginning to think that I am quite bad at updating my blog especially where the entry comes in several parts. So, I am determined to finish off this one on Bali amidst having to do some supervision, attend a meeting and see a client today. And kut mana2 boleh diselitkan sesi tenggiling….

We left Kuta on Saturday morning and moved inland to Ubud. This is where one should go if one fancies handicrafts, furniture, and also for total R & R. The hotel where we stayed at (Koma*neka Tanga*yuda) was so secluded that by 6.30 in the evening we could only hear the sounds of monkey calls. The accommodation there was divided into several private villas. Ada yg came with its own pool ada yg takde. On the first night we were there, we all ambik villa yg takde pool and the second night baru we all splashed out and stayed at the one with pool and overlooking the valley. But both villas ada bathtub yg besar..boleh la kalu nak masuk anak beranak, kucing dua tiga ekor kalu ada. That night takde activity yang bernas dilakukan..at first I thought I wanted to go surf the internet kat library near reception after little D has gone to sleep. Oleh kerana tersangat gelapnya and cuma diterangi lampu2 yg digantung kat pokok, I pun tak berani nak venture out of the villa. No wonder la masa the staff showed us to our villa, he showed us where the torchlight was kept. Gabra jugak i…yelah, I kan budak pekan, dah tak ingat dah suasana dok kat kampung2 ni because my grandparents passed away quite early jugak. And all kinds of jungle sounds ada (yg kecik2 la bukan harimau, gajah etc.) So, after dinner, little D’s bathtub session, she fell asleep and MG & I pun buatlah aktiviti org dewasa…seperti korek hidung dan segala jenis korek hehe.

The next day after breakfast, we went into Ub*ud town. I wish we had more time to explore the quaint little town, but as we were going to move into the other villa, we wanted to spend more time there to make it all worthwhile. We straightaway went to the Ubud market. The hotel shuttle service dropped us there. We didn’t bring little D’s pushchair along because it’d be quite tricky to manoeuvre it along the narrow walkway. So, we took turns carrying her…berat banget! 12kg you! The market reminded me of pasar Chow Kit but bigger. We got a few souvenirs and tengok2, then the van came to pick us up back to the hotel. Then tiba hotel, kemas2 barang and we moved into the other villa.

Memang cantik! Room size sama je the only difference is the bathtub is not sunken like the previous one and we had our own pool and pavilion. But water was bloody cold!! You imagine cam air from waterfall. Dah tu pulak, the pool depth was 1.5m and utk org yg tak berapa terer berenang, vertically challenged and couldn’t fit into little D’s floaties, I celup2 kaki je..to which MG said, hampeh dapat wife yg ketot. It didn’t stop little D though, sampai biru2! Tea was included in the package although I wish the kuih had come in bigger sizes (the mountain air was making me hungry all the time, terasa cam Heidi pulak).

We got dinner for little D, fed her, got her ready to bed early, pas tu org besar senang nak beraktiviti...this includes sesi bergambar dua, tiga kali dalam air (motifnya??? Entah, laki aku tu meroyan). I rasa cam permaisuri pulak dok kat villa dengan gundiknya..malam2 ada staff ting tong nak turn the bed down for us but of course little D dah terbongkang dulu. I wish we could have stayed longer but kopak la pulak kan? The next day our supir sent us to the airport and we got home.

Sigh! Rasa cam nak datang lagi…surprisingly, I didn’t shop that much for myself because tak sempat and penat constantly being harassed by little D. But MG got us some dining table chairs yg akan di ship back (we’ve had this 8-seater dining table yg dah dekat setahun tapi kerusinya enggak ada!). So, there you go, habis cerita.

View from the reception. On the left was the restaurant, the thatched roof seen on the right was our first villa.

MG and little D at the entrance of the Ubud market.

Little D fell asleep while we were having refreshment.

This was the view from where i was sitting at the cafe above. The temple was Pura Taman Saraswati.

Little D asyik nak lari dan lari dan lari. Kat celah2 villa.

Anak beranak masuk dlm bathtub ni. Siap diaorg tabur2 bunga lagi.

The 2nd villa overlooking the valley as well as the common pool. Oh yes, our villa came with a gigolo too..hehe.

Yang kerojenya asyik dok dlm pool yg airnya sejuk bedi! Tapi sanggup tu utk sesi fotografi dari pagi sampai ke malam.

Bagi anak makan kenyang2 supaya dia cepat tidur.

Our send-off by the staff. Eh, semua pakai baju putih lak tu?!
