Anak angkat berbulu

Dah lama tak cakap pasal anak2 bulu i. Of course now i only have two....once in a while, teringat juga kat PB but takde nangis2 dah cam drama Tamil. I've lived in this house for 8 years and sepanjang2 PB masih ada memang pintu rumah tak boleh dibiarkan terlapang because PB had this tendency to go walkabout and then tak tau balik. Dekat 3,4 kali jugak dia terlepas keluar and hilang more than 12 hours. 2 kali tu kena buat leaflet masukkan dalam letterbox neighbours. The other 2 times, opur neighbours alerted us that dia dah nak take up residence at their houses. Recently i went to a wedding dekat2 rumah. This one lady yg i tak kenal sapa but neighbour yg jauh sikit said to me, you ni dulu yg ada hilang kucing and buat poster tu kan? That incident must be like more than 5 years ago! The funny thing is, Monty the mummy's boy still get a little bit confused sometimes: pintu rumah dah terlapang pun dia masih keluar masuk ikut tingkap. PB never attempted to sneak out of the house through the opened windows - she was too lazy to climb or jump - except masa dia horny and nak pi jumpa boipren, 63 days later we got Ugi and 2 months later, PB kena sunat. That was the end of her adventurous keluar tingkap days.

Monty and Ugi do not seem to be missing PB. But my maid said when i was away for 2 weeks for umrah, the two bulus were at loss. MG bannned those two from the bedroom (tengok tu, belum lagi i mati dah dianak tirikan bulu 2 ekor tu). When i arrived home, baru letak beg je dah mulut si jantan eunuch bising menceceh complained pasal ketidakpuas hatiannya. Ugi no hal, all she wants is to malam2 tido kat kaki i (dia sedar diri yg MG tak berapa berkenan) and if i am at hope during day time and when i take  a nap, dia akan tidur rapat2 bersandarkan peha i ke...heaven katanya pasal takdak paktiri.

Speaking of the bulus, remember this one yellow cat yg selalu bergaduh dgn Monty? Well, i think they have come to some sort of an understanding, i tak kacau you, you jangan kacau i..so no more scuffles. I have been feeding him..memula tu cat biscuits biasa je la brand 'F'. Pastu since every evening si tembam belang i dapat makan ikan and dia punya keriau ecstasy satu kampung boleh dengar, bila si kuning tu ada kenkadang i bagi jugak dia fish or wetfood. Laa ni ada 'kengkawan' lain pulak join..sampai 5 ekor! One is a pregnant cat...i ingat bila dia dah beranak i need to give the kittens away so that kebajikan diaorg terjamin and get the mother cat spayed. Problem is, she's quite wild..feral lah katakan. Dah bagi makan 2, 3 bulan pun masih takut2 lagi. Unlike si kuning yg amboi, jinak semacam pulaklah..tadi i bagi makan dia kat luar, dia boleh masuk rumah pulak makan si Monty punya yg brand RC..memang dia tau yg mana lagi lebih sedap. I supposed i should get si kuning neutered..telurnya bukan main besar! Kittens yg beranak kat sini semuanya kaler kuning cam dia. I think i should get him neutered, what do you think? Mungkin satu hal jugak nak masukkan dlm cat carrier. Back to the pregnant cat tadi, semalam dia bawak kittens pulak! Umur around 1 month i think. Poor cat, tak berhenti2 beranak! If only i can trap her and send her for spaying....vet kat rumah i ni, macam tak pandai sangat ( i rasa fresh grad)...i cakap i nak neuter stray cats. Dia cakap kena vaccine dulu, 2X in 2 consecutive months. I said, kalau dah vaccine sekali, don't think i boleh tangkap utk kali kedua, then in the meantime terpregnant lagi. Sungguh tak pandai! Memang la if the cats bertuan, memang digalakkan vaccine dulu..but stray cats?? Stray cats yg liar??? In the meantime population of stray, unwanted cats bertambah2. One more thing, i enquired about perlukah datang balik utk buka sutures? Because for all my 3 cats tak pernah pulak i had to come back to have them done. He said, mestilah. Then i said, can't you use resorbable sutures? Hmmmm...boleh jugak, katanya. Aiyo! So not inspiring confidence langsung!

So now, i have 7 anak angkat bulu kat luar rumah....i think 3 are my neighbours'...ni jenis nak bersayang2 kucing tapi kebajikan langsung tak jaga. Dah tu pulak ada guardian angel (ehem, me) nak bagi makan (sekarang dah upgrade sikit from biskut brand F ke brand BW), lagilah owner lepas tangan. Sekali tu sungguh main cantik lagi pi holiday ke Lawndon sinun and bertempiaran bebudak tu cari makan kat rumah i. But i believe bila i bermurah rezeki dgn depa, rezeki i pun semakin bertambah murah. Just nak cerita, sekali dulu masa PB masuk sepital for batu karang, i was thinking, haiya, lari budget bulan tu. With the tests, surgery and meds, at least RM500...tup2 pagi tu i dapat cheque from my private clients. Allah maha mengetahui....so, akak nak bertazkirah sikit ni...kalau nampak stray cats kat restaurant or gerai2, kalau ada 7E or kedai runcit berdekatan, belilah sikit wetfood. Harga tak mahal, RM1.40 saja sepacket. Cukuplah kenyang utk sekor...kalau ada banyak, belanjalah lebih sikit. Bagi cat biscuits pun boleh jugak tapi kat kedai2 runcit dia jarang ada stock yg packet kecik. Kalau you all malas, order atau cekau lebih sikit lauk ikan or ayam, then you can give to the cats. At least kenyang jugak the cats at that particular time. Insyallah, your good deed akan dibalas oleh Allah..nowadays, Allah bayar cash. Jangan kedekut or berkira...insyallah rezeki you tak akan putus.

My only predicament now is, at the end of the year, i will move to a new place and we're letting go of this house. What will happen to the cats? If they were tame, i can relocate them to my new place...still maintain jadi kucing luar rumah..but the fact is, they are not. Orang kata kucing ni attach dgn rumah/tempat..nanti kang kalau i relocate depa, susah and bahaya pulak le depa cari jalan balik ke rumah lama. Kalau nak bela sayang2 dlm rumah rasanya no can do - MG tak mesra alam  dgn anak bulu yg bukan dia punya and i pulak dah tak mau emotionally attached to any animals...when PB died, i rasa cam mereng seminggu dua. For me to drop by every day bagi diaorg makan may not be possible because jarak between the 2 places jauh....at this moment, takde solution lagi...

Anyway, if anyone would like to adopt the 2 kittens (tompok kuning and tompok kelabu), do let me know. Can deliver kalau sekitar Lembah Klang...but problemnya sekarang nak kena jinakkan depa dulu utk senang tangkap..hehe..
