Puasa is in less than a month....i have loads to ganti dari zaman pregnant Little D dulu. Dah bertapuk2, bayar fidyah tiap tahun sama rhege dgn cincin belah rotan sebentuk (tu dia perumpamaannya). So this year i thought instead of bayar fidyah through meybeng, baik donate terus je ke fakir miskin. And i so love shopping online...tak kisahlah walaupun bukan utk diri sendiri.
So i surfed the net looking for a company that delivers groceries. Tesco tak buat payment online. I once used the service of doorstep.com. Tapi laa ni depa buat utk office supplies and pantry je. Then i came across redtick.com. Their delivery service doesn't include the area of the Home i wanted to send the stuff to. But they have online chat on their website. So i asked the staff..namanya Amy, cemana i nak hantar barang utk charity ni? 2 minutes later she got back to me...dia cakap oleh kerana it's for charity, they will send the stuff for me, FOC. Hati i dah berbunga2....
So 'shopping'lah i...hati bahagia sekiranya penerimanya bahagia jua (statement sayu). Paid online at 6pm. Goods will be delivered between 12-2pm the next day. Not bad! Less than 24 hours. Pastu malamnya i terfikir...aiya...what if the house hasn't got a freezer big enough to accommodate the whole chickens that i ordered? So, masuk balik ke website, the agent was offline. I emailed them, mintak tukar ke canned meat, total up kurang 50 sen dari harga ayam2 yg i was substituting for. 5 mins later, this Amy replied my email, sure, they can do that for me, katanya.
The next morning, this Amy emailed again, dia kata canned meat yg i nak tak cukup 6 cans. So they have substituted for another brand yg mahal sikit. But no problem katanya, they will absorb the difference (5 stars!!). pukul 12.02min when i was in a meeting, the van driver called to confirm the address and i gave them the person in charge punya hp no. 5 mins later he called saying that dia dapat uncle chenna yg jawab no. tefonnya. Dia kata org tu cakap 'Aro.....aro...'. I said, huh? Like i spoke to the Ustaz yesterday, takkan salah no. pulak. So i pun call...laaa...setiap cerita samada cite hantu ke, romance ke, mesti ada character badut kan? In this story, the van driver was one. I said to him, 'ish! Bukan chenna la! Ustaz tu bukan warganegara Msia. Sebab tu sore dia lain...!' Tah hapa2. i didn't hear from him again, so i guessed, all was well. At 2pm, got an email from Amy again...apparently the driver has left a box of eggs = 7 trays in his van..terlepas pandang. But she will make sure he delivers them the next day. Kan dah cakap badut...
All in all, i'm very satisfied with Redtick's performance and i shall be using their service again in the future. Rasa sekejap cam i kat developed country pulak. Ye lah kan...a lot of the times kalau depending on other people ni macam dgn bank ke, Astrok, pejabat gomen (but saying that my experience with LHDN and Immigration had been good), jaga kat Cyberjaya yg gaduh dgn Esah (while i pi beli sandwich), Kenny Rogers, B00mtown (harus mention gak ni) cam &%&%# je kan...Go check it out...manalah tau dah dekat bulan Ramadhan ni and ada sesapa nak ber'shopping'. Tak payah hangkut beras berkilo2 dgn kereta sendiri ...apparently, my friend cakap the price of the goods are reasonable, some even cheaper dari supermarket biasa (ni dia cakap pasal i don't shop for groceries, hence...)
