Taking the mickey..

Hi there! Woke up this morning and innalillah....the haze was getting soooo bad. But still it was not all that bad. I thanked God, that meant i got to spend more time at home with the girls since they were off school. Aaaaa.....warm feelings, making me tingle all over...hmm...what shall i cook for breakfast? The girls absolutely loveeee my pancakes...normally we have them with butter and honey..I made some turkey sandwiches for MG to take to work...he's currently watching his weight, therefore, plenty of veges to go as well. He's been coughing rather badly for the past 2 weeks, so i made him some warm honey and lemon drink...he didn't say much but his smile all the way to the car let me know that he appreciated it.

Supervised the girls...Little D with her maths and Baby X, her reading. Then we played playdough...the girls are so talented. They'd rather be doing something with their hands than watch tv. In the mean time, i was already thinking of what to cook for lunch. Made some baked pasta since it was the girls' favourite. Called up MG and asked what he would like for dinner. He said, surprise me! The girls took an afternoon nap while i sat down and went through my recipe book. When the girls got up, bathed them and got them ready for tea and biscuits. Then i started to cook dinner. Dinner for tonight shall be nasi beriani, dalca, kari kambing and acar. Made some pavlova as well since MG absolutely loves it...and he deserves it. He's been working really hard for the past few weeks. Due to the haze, the girls were not allowed to go out to the playground. The reason also why did not have tea in the garden....normally, i'd lay the mat in the garden and we would be having a picnic amongst the flowers.

Then got the girls ready for dinner. MG got home and he brought a bunch of roses...awww........

Got up just in time for subuh. Was working till late last night. Pastu sebelum tido blog hop dulu. Pas subuh tido balik. Before tido tengok luar and groaannnn...laaaa..jerebu lagi ke?  This means the kids will be at home..which means every 5 minutes depa akan dok keriau2...gaduh sana sini, rebut remote astro. MG pi kerja pun i dah tak sedar. Bangun, semua orang dah breakfast koko krunch. I had brunch..maggi mee. Buat kerja kat 'office', baby X dok keriau2, mummy ni apa? Every 5 seconds. So tutup kerja, pi bagi dia kuiz mengeja. 'B' stands for what? Ular! Katanya. Tak ke ko rasa cam nak makan je dia? Kalau suh main mekap2 nombor 1! Btw, her technique is getting better and better. Awal2 dulu cam gothic sangat but now she seems to know that less is more. Then mintak maid perangatkan lauk semalam for lunch. Pas lunch, adehhh mata ni berat pulak uols! Budak2 keriau2 kat bawah berebut channel astro. Mak King Kong turun bawah and said no TV until the maid has watched 'Anissa' ...ye ler..waktu nonton dia pun terjejas dgn adanya bebudak kat rumah. Petang i bersiap2 nak menjongket...nak pi cari cobbler. Bebudak nak ikut, i said..no...mummy kena pi sepital kejap, jumpa Boss mummy (ye lah tu kan). Ok, pi main rumah Abu (boipren depa), tapi dok dlm rumah je tau.

Cari cobblerlah sangatkan..terjebak dgn benda lain. Had another of those 6 inch sandwiches..(ye lah it was several hours from the time i had lunch, kan?). Balik dah pertengahan Maghrib. MG dah sampai rumah. Hi Daddy, i cakap sambil sengih2. Brought home some TuttiFruitti for the girls and me (of course) tapi MG dengar kitaorg riuh kat dapur je lah ye..batuk..sebab tu tak offer pun. Pastu MG keriau2 kat budak2 pasai depa bising sangat. Then dia zzzz depan tv. Pastu i pulak sambung keriau kat depa. Hambat depa naik atas, shishi, berus gigi, tido. Harap2 esok dah boleh pi sekolah.
