Esah thinks that my lasik treatment was a waste of money (Tudia..start2 je terus mention nama akak kita tu..supaya dia yg sedang berfrench maid halloween costume bagai tersedak2). Taklah penglihatan I jadi bionic woman...in fact I can't even drive at night time now. Tak yah tunggu malam, kalau samar2 pun I tak nampak muka hidung orang. I was at workplace B's cafe once. Tepon lain bunyi tepon lain yg I angkat. Pastu pura2 buat macam I nak gunakan phone tu...padahal phone tu punya wayar tak sambung pun ke anunya kat dinding. Ok la..masalah pendengaran pun ye jugak.
Yesterday I was at meybeng. I berdiri kat depan automatic door and I wondered napa pintu tak bukak2. Dah nak teghiak panggil jaga dah. Rupanya the door slid from right to left and I was standing on the left side. Yg had belah kanan tu dah terlapang, idak I perasan. Mesti orang2 kat bank tu ingat I spastik. This morning, I asked my junior, apsal nyonya tu senyum kat I? And she told me, that is the client's mum that you just spoke to 10 mins ago.
To me I feel the lasik has given me a new lease of life. Power mata I dulu 1000 lebih. I had been wearing contact lenses since I was 17. I worried about getting eye infection from dirty contact lenses all the time. Bila pakai specs mata nampak kecik sangat. Sekali tukar specs, the lenses would cost me more than the frame. Sekarang bangun pagi save 5 min tak yah tenyeh lens ke dlm mata.
I swear MG likes it that I can't drive at night time. Takde lah perjumpaan desperate hoswipes dah.
One day last week I balik dari mengantar Ugi ke klinik. It was around 730pm. The girls were not with me. Kalau tak they would be my eyes. I ikut bontot keta lain...tengok2 dia masuk lorong lain dari jalan balik ke rumah I. Sheesh! Cannot la like this! So this weekend nak pi buat specs...utk driving...and yes I still think my lasik was a success. Weird, I know.
